Ingredients

  • 22.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in your Instant Pot or slow cooker.
  2. Season both sides of chicken with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in chicken broth or water.
  4. Secure lid. If using an Instant Pot, making sure your valve is set to sealing.
    • If using an Instant Pot or pressure cooker, press the “Poultry” button or set the pot to High Pressure for 13 minutes. Once the cook cycle finishes, wait for Pot to depressurize on it’s own, known as natural release.
    • If using a slow cooker, cook chicken with lid secure for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
  5. Once chicken is cooked, on a cutting board and shred with 2 forks, OR slice chicken breast.
