Sweet Tea: Remembering Our Valentine’s Day Tea Party

February 1, 2017 By Homemaker's Habitat

From time to time, I receive products for review and/or include affiliate links from which I earn a small percentage from qualifying purchases, as a member of affiliate programs and as an Amazon Associate. Some blog posts and television appearances are sponsored by featured companies. All opinions stated are my own.

thesweetestteapartyHow quickly a year goes by! When I opened my Facebook news feed today my “On This Day” nearly made my heart explode from cute. Last year at this time, we hosted the cutest tea party for the kiddos in honor of Valentine’s Day.

They had so much fun sipping tea with their pinkies held high and sampling the sweet, tiny treats we prepared for the day. This was such a fun, innocent way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our littles. They felt so incredibly special that morning. And didn’t mind one bit when mommy and daddy left them with a sitter that night so we could enjoy a quiet dinner on our own 😉

Beyond Valentine’s Day, this would make an adorable theme for a child’s birthday party. For links to the original stories from my site and TheInspiredHome.com, plus a ton of other fun Valentine’s Day food and decor ideas I’ve pinned, visit my Pinterest Board. And if you like this content, please follow me on Pinterest too. I’ve been working hard lately to update my boards to be a little more user-friendly. There you’ll find all of my recipe and entertaining ideas pinned in a super-simple searchable format.

Along those same lines, I should note that I’m in the middle of a major overhaul of my site. I’m hoping to unveil a brand new, more user friendly Homemaker’s Habitat before the end of February and I have a ton of fun new entertaining ideas and family-friendly recipes planned for the coming months as well. If you aren’t already following my social feeds, I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
