My New Favorite “Room”

May 18, 2012 By jtandexler

Our front porch. Amazing what some outdoor carpeting, some solar/battery lighting and a swing can do.

Zoey is a fan too.

I may never go back in the house.

Love the new room! I also love your carpet. Is it specifically outdoor carpeting? Do you mind letting me know where you picked it up? I'm inspired now to set up my often neglected front porch!

I think you might have saved me a spot. I'll be back to fill it soon!

Amy- so glad you like. The carpet is outdoor specific…though obviously it's pretty protected from the elements in this space and since it's new I can't yet speak to durability. I found it at Target on sale in the outdoor section. Actually everything pictured is Target except the swing. The swing was from Lowes. Good luck with your own porch. We are literally out here everyday so I hope you find yours equally inviting :)Jessi: your spot is ALWAYS reserved.
