Kicks for Valentine’s Day

The baby wished us Happy Valentine’s Day! Up until today I’ve been feeling faint flutters in my belly but, frustratingly, they would come and go so quickly I wasn’t sure what it was. Then this morning as I was laying in bed, I felt a very distinct thump…and then another and another. I wasn’t sure it was strong enough for JiT to feel but I called him over anyway and sure enough…he could feel them too!
That’s probably the extent of our celebrating today…we decided that in lieu of all the other stuff we’ve got going on right now, there’s no need to go nuts for V-day. But I am planning to make a nice dinner (filets mignon, something chocolately for dessert).
Wishing everyone a very happy Valentine’s Day!
