Since I’ve been MIA for nearly a week, I thought a picture might best sum up what I’ve been up to for the last five days:
<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267076588065634018" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://static1.squarespace.com/static/55413e07e4b0cd39c01f4040/5546dc6de4b09a1d83e23aad/5546dc8ee4b09a1d83e242e0/1430707715642//img.jpg was a 90210 wedding….and an elegant affair indeed! The champagne was Veuve Clicquot, and it flowed all night. The entire house was blanketed in roses, rose petals, fresh fruits and tiny candles by the wedding planners , whose resume includes work at the Emmys. The bride's hair was done by a stylist who does the hair and makeup for commercials, including Progressive and McDonalds (not to mention that the brides hair is usually shoulder-length and was lengthened with hand-made, human hair extensions!). The night’s entertainment included a performance by flamenco dancers backed by live Spanish guitar, to honor the bride’s love of Spain.
And the bridesmaid dresses….were purchased from Target for $40.
Goes to show that even the most elegant should never be above a bargain! Congratulations Jennie and Adam!
Coming this week: Cumin-roast pork loin, apple pie and JiT’s famous chili. Happy fall!
